As a CHAI member, this integration reinforces Darena's commitment to enabling healthcare organizations to implement trusted AI solutions while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

As of January 1, 2025, as part of the ONC's HTI-1 final rule, all Electronic Health Records (EHRs) are required to support the B11 Decision Support Interventions (DSI) criterion for predictive AI-based CDS tools. This requirement mandates that any AI models deployed to healthcare organizations list their source attributes, ensuring transparency and accountability in clinical decision support (CDS).

CHAI, a private-sector-led industry coalition dedicated to responsible AI in healthcare, has successfully translated these source attributes into a streamlined model card, or 'nutrition label' for health AI. This structured format makes it easier for healthcare organizations to review AI models, fostering trust and confidence in AI-driven decision-making.
